The Global Field Action team would greatly benefit from having a WIP management tool. We have dozens of open field actions at a time in various states, all requiring monthly reporting to FDA and some requiring monthly communications to customers. The tasks needed to handle the field actions move back and forth between two functions on our team and at times out to other functions such as Regulatory, regional Quality Teams, etc. Currently there are multiple spreadsheets, manually populated, to track all the activities across the team. Work priority is managed though calendar reminder, which are not visible to the broader team. |
